1969 Camaro Restomod

The Problem

Decades-old body work under the existing finish, uneven panel gaps and a tired paint surface that no longer suited the direction of the build.

Work Performed

• Disassembly of exterior trim, glass and lighting
• Removal of previous filler and prior repair work
• Panel repair and replacement where the metal was beyond saving
• Panel gap and fitment work across doors, hood and deck lid
• Full surface preparation and sealing
• Full vehicle refinishing in a deep candy red
• Reassembly of exterior trim and final finish detailing

Project Description

A restomod direction rather than a factory-correct restoration: the classic body lines were kept, but gaps were tightened, prior repairs corrected and the entire vehicle refinished to a modern standard.
